During this AAF Omaha virtual AdConnect panel discussion you'll learn from networking and communication experts new tips and tricks that will keep you moving forward to help you stay top of mind with other professionals and peers.

Alec Rahe

Alec Rahe is the Managing Partner and Director of Sales & Marketing at Frost Media Group.
Rahe graduated from Saint Leo University with a degree in marketing in 2009. He started his career in sales at Camping World Corporate in Chicago. Rahe began in the marketing department and worked his way to sales manager in Council Bluffs, IA and Jacksonville, FL. Taking what he had learned from working in RVs for 5 years, Rahe applied it to national sales at Dex Media. There he was named Sales Rep of the year in 2015 along with multiple other sales awards. He then applied his entrepreneurial spirit to other ventures like starting the Omaha Coffee Truck and became Co-Owner and Managing Partner of Frost Media Group in 2018.

At Frost Media Group Rahe works with a team of 8 people in Omaha and Kansas City. Frost Media Group's focus is the video story telling of businesses and nonprofits to help organizations with their communication and fundraising goals.

Panelists:

Erin Van Zee

Erin Van Zee is the communications director for RDG Planning & Design, where she oversees the firm’s global communications and PR strategies. A passionate believer in the power of community engagement and a strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, she also serves as vice president of the board of the Latino Center of the Midlands, as programming co-chair for the board of the Public Relations Society of America - Nebraska Chapter and is a regular reader for Radio Talking Book Network, an organization that provides human-voiced information to individuals who may be blind or visually impaired. In 2020, Van Zee was selected as a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber's Leadership Omaha Class 43, a group of next-generation leaders dedicated to transforming their community and strengthening the region.

Jessica Schmitz

Jessica Schmitz is a Recruiter at LRS Healthcare. Schmitz serves on the AAF Omaha board of directors co-chairing the federation's Communications Team.
Schmitz is a recent graduate from the University of South Dakota with a BA in Media and Journalism. She has held leadership roles that solidified her passion to work in the marketing industry. Schmitz landed her first post-grad job this summer at LRS Healthcare where she uses her communication skills to recruit talent for Allied Health.

Tom Woody

Tom Woody is a Business Development Manager for Freeman, a global leader in brand experiences. In his role, Woody works with corporate clients and associations across the US to find the right solutions for their experiences through Freeman’s diverse service portfolio including Digital, Event Technology, Agency, Creative Solutions and more. Woody comes from an advertising and branding background and is passionate about working to create effective and well branded experiences that work. A proven leader, Woody is involved as a member of many community and industry organizations including AAF, Ad 2, MPI, Social Media Club. As a passionate member of the American Advertising Federation, Woody has been a member of many regional AAF clubs and currently serves as Governor of the AAF’s 9th District, representing clubs and advertising across the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
